    Experience the adventure of a lifetime with a night hike to the summit of Ijen volcano, one of the wonders of Java. Travellers from all around the globe come to witness its mesmerizing blue flames, a natural phenomenon inside the crater, and its magnificent scenery offering a glimpse of heaven on earth. This is also a great spot for a sunrise view, overlooking the silhouette of the valleys and crater.

    Itinerary: private tour

    Day 1:

    • 06.30 PM – Pick up at your hotel then 4 hours drive to gilimanuk ferry port 
    • 10.00 PM – Arrive Gilimanuk ferry port then by ferry cross to Java around 1.5 hours
    • 23.00 PM – Arrive ketapang harbor in Java, drive to Ijen

    Day 2:

    • 12.00 AM – Arrive at the entrance gate/paltuding parking area 
    • 01.00 AM – Start hike to Ijen 
    • 02.30 AM – Reach the volcano’s rim after hiking for around 1.5 hours
    • 03.00 AM – Arrive crater/blue fire 
    • 05.00 AM – Reach the top of Ijen to capture the sunrise.
    • 06.00 AM – Return to the Paltuding parking area 
    • 07.00 AM – Arrive paltuding
    • 07.30 AM – Drive to Ketapang ferry port
    • 09:00 AM – By ferry to Gilimanuk port in Bali
    • 11:00 AM – Arrive Gilimanuk harbor, by car transfer back to your hotel in Ubud Bal
    • 16:00 – Arrive your hotel(Sanur (anywhere in Ubud, Seminyak, Canggu)

    **There is no guarantee that you will go down the crater/blue fire on the day of your trip, nature is unpredictable and if due to massive sulphur clouds it is too dangerous on that day to go down, you have to respect it for your own safety.

    5. This is a private tour/activity, only your group will participate
    6. Mount Ijen can be pretty chilly before sunrise since it’s well above sea level.Temperatures can drop below 7 Celsius (45 F), and it can get windy too since you’re on an exposed mountain. Still, it’s best to dress in layers, because when you’re hiking up the mountain you’ll warm up pretty quick and may even get hot
    7. What to bring: personal medicine, warm clothing, other stuff like rain jacket, trekking shoes 
    8. Ijen will closed on friday of 1st week, every month
